Good morning!

US stock futures edged lower Wednesday as rising oil prices and Treasury yields weighed on investor sentiment. Dow futures fell 0.15%, S&P 500 futures slipped 0.23%, and Nasdaq-100 futures dropped 0.53%, extending Tuesday’s losses.

Brent crude climbed above $95 a barrel following an escalation in the Iran conflict, raising concerns over inflation. The 10-year Treasury yield rose to 4.79%, while the 30-year yield reached 5.27%.

Trade tensions with Canada also remained in focus, although Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent downplayed a trade war.

Investors now await ADP private-sector hiring data for clues on labor-market conditions ahead of Friday’s jobs report.
