Good morning!

US stock futures were mixed, with Dow and S&P 500 futures down 0.1%, while Nasdaq-100 futures edged higher. AI concerns intensified after a leaked Anthropic IPO prospectus reportedly targeted a $2 trillion valuation, more than double its estimated $965 billion valuation, while warning of potential “existential risks.”

OpenAI also shelved a next-generation model over safety concerns. AMD shares were little changed after its $8.2 billion acquisition of World Labs.

Meanwhile, Brent crude hovered near $100 per barrel and WTI around $93, as geopolitical tensions supported oil and bond prices. Investors await U.S. job openings and consumer confidence data Tuesday.

Now Chevron, Exxon, and Devon Energy are all crawling back. One company never left: sixty years of infrastructure, a 15-year Google contract, and a federal land auction coming October 20th.
