Good morning!
US stock futures edged higher on Monday as oil prices fell below $100 per barrel, easing investor concerns amid geopolitical uncertainty and expectations of further Fed rate hikes. Dow Jones futures rose 0.68%, while S&P 500 and Nasdaq-100 futures gained 0.65% and 1.06%, respectively.
Markets remain focused on rising bond yields, Middle East tensions, and AI-related concerns. Investor attention now turns to Thursday’s meeting between President Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping, which is expected to address tariffs and AI cooperation.
Several technology leaders, including Nvidia’s Jensen Huang and OpenAI’s Sam Altman, are also scheduled to attend a dinner with Xi.
