Good morning!
U.S. stock futures were largely flat on Wednesday ahead of two major market catalysts: the latest inflation reading and Nvidia’s (NVDA) quarterly earnings. Dow and S&P 500 futures hovered near unchanged, while Nasdaq-100 futures slipped 0.2% after Tuesday’s gains.
Investors expect core PCE inflation, the Federal Reserve’s preferred gauge, to hold at 3.3%, keeping attention on the path of interest rates.
Meanwhile, Nvidia’s after-hours results will test the strength of the AI trade and whether massive investments in artificial intelligence are translating into stronger returns, amid heightened bond-market volatility and the upcoming Jackson Hole meeting.
