Good morning!

US stock futures showed little movement on Wednesday as surging oil prices and shifting expectations for a September Federal Reserve rate hike weighed on sentiment.

Dow Jones futures fell 0.24%, following Tuesday’s 600-point decline, while S&P 500 futures were near flat and Nasdaq-100 futures slipped 0.16%. Oil prices climbed toward $100 a barrel amid escalating US-Iran tensions and strikes on Iranian oil tankers.

Brent crude traded at around $99 a barrel, while WTI stood near $94. Concerns over prolonged energy disruptions through the Strait of Hormuz pushed markets to price in a 60% chance of a 25-basis-point Fed rate hike this month.
