Good morning!
US stock futures were mixed Thursday as investors paused after oil prices surged above $100 a barrel and awaited key inflation data and Oracle’s earnings. Dow futures gained 0.17%, while S&P 500 futures rose 0.10%; Nasdaq-100 futures slipped 0.15%.
The 10-year Treasury yield climbed to a three-year high on Wednesday following the Treasury Department’s plan to purchase up to $6 billion in longer-term debt.
Markets remain concerned that the US-Iran conflict and Strait of Hormuz disruptions could fuel inflation and pressure the Federal Reserve to raise rates. Economists expect producer prices to rise 0.3%, while Trump proposed $5,000 checks for American adults.
